We investigated the prevalence of 248 patients who visited OB & GY clinic in Dongseo hospital of oriental medicine during 1999.1.1-1999.12.31. The number of patients to age level were 93 : 21-30, 52 : 31-40, 18 : 41-50, 8 : 51-60, 1 : 0-14. The most prevalent symptom was menorrheal disorder, and fatigue, disorder after birth, infertility, genital disorder, abortion and etc were successively prevalent. The most prevalent sympton in age level, 0-14 was gastic disorder, 15-20 was menorrheal disorder, 31-40 was infertility, 41-50 was muskuloskeletal disorder, 51-60 was postmenopausal symptom, 51-60 was muskuloskeletal disorder. The most prevalent age level who visit our clinic was 21-30. The patients who have menorrheal problems included 215 patients (65.1%), the major symptom was cramps. The number of patients who experienced artificial abortion was 109(44%), and spontaneous abortion was 31(12.5%). The number of patients who experienced 1 time artificial abortion 45(43.7%), 2 times was 28(27.2%), 3 times was 15(14.6%), 6 times was 7(6.8%), 5 times was 5(4.9%), and 4 times was 3(2.9%). The number of patients who experienced 1 time spontaneous abortion was 20(64.5%), 2 times was 7(22.5%), 3 times was 2(6.5%), and 6 times 2(6.5%). This study suggested that education to administer menorrheal disorders was necessary for women.
